The Nernst N3100 Embedded Zirconia Micro-Oxygen Analyzer
● OVERVIEW
The Nernst N3100 Embedded Zirconia Micro-Oxygen Analyzer represents the seventh generation of micro-oxygen analyzers designed and manufactured by Nernst. It finds extensive application in vacuum welding furnaces, semiconductor manufacturing within the electronics industry, reflow soldering, oxygen measurement in glove boxes, 3D printing, the biopharmaceutical sector, bright annealing furnaces for precision components, coating treatment equipment for high-strength alloy cutting tools, and various other process areas requiring oxygen control in compact devices.
● FEATURES
Plug-in Type Rapid Response Zirconia Sensor
The Nernst zirconia sensor employs a sheet-type zirconia ceramic welded and fastened composite technology. The sensor exhibits strong resistance to thermal shock and generally does not require calibration with standard gases (calibration with ambient air is possible). During operation, the sensor delivers high oxygen measurement accuracy, fast response speed, signal drift-free performance, and strong corrosion resistance. Actual response time is less than 100 milliseconds, with a response time to oxygen of 50 milliseconds.
Precise Sensor Temperature Control
Sensor temperature is critical for reliable performance and rapid response. The sensor incorporates a heating element precisely controlled by the analyzer, maintaining a constant temperature of 720oC.
Wide oxygen measurement range with high precision
Measures trace oxygen levels from 10-30 to 100% oxygen content.
No maintenance required
The analyzer requires no regular maintenance, and the sensor does not need routine calibration—calibration should only be performed as needed.
Compact Design
The analyzer is extremely easy to install. Featuring an embedded design with a small footprint, it can be mounted on the surface of control panels and integrated into various equipment components.
Output Control
The analyzer features a 4–20 mA current output channel and a computer communication interface (RS232) or network communication interface (RS485).
Display Function
The analyzer features an easy-to-read high-brightness LED display that shows various functions and parameters, and possesses robust output and control capabilities for diverse parameters.
Oxygen Display Units
Percentage content %, PPM mode, scientific notation X — E% automatic conversion.
Alarm Settings
The analyzer features three universal alarm outputs: one high oxygen alarm, one low oxygen alarm, and one programmable fault alarm.
Automatic or fixed-range measurement
The analyzer can be configured to automatically adjust the measurement range based on the oxygen concentration in the process.
Easy to operate
The analyzer is factory-set upon delivery. Users can directly access the menu via buttons on the analyzer panel to modify configuration parameters.
